Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026. Zetavolt LLC, Florida, United States. Applies to zetavolt.org, the ZetaVolt app for Android and the ZetaVolt app for iPhone and iPad.

We do not sell your information, we do not show advertising, and we do not use advertising or tracking companies. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep, why, who else handles it, how Zeta learns, and how to delete it. The Terms of Service and the Refund Policy go with it.

What we keep

What we do not do

Why we use it

To run the parts of ZetaVolt you use: show your profile and posts to the people you choose, deliver messages, keep your files, let Zeta answer with your own information when you ask it to, keep accounts safe, follow the law, and fix problems. Zeta only uses information you are allowed to see.

How Zeta learns

Zeta, ZetaVolt’s AI, learns from how ZetaVolt is used — questions, files, folders, records and the public internet — so it gets better for everyone. There is no setting to turn this off, so we say it plainly here and in the Terms. What that means for you:

Who else handles it

A few companies run parts of the service for us, under contracts that limit them to that job. They receive only what is needed for that job:

We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

AI apps you connect (ChatGPT, Claude)

You can let an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude use your ZetaVolt. Nothing is shared until you sign in to ZetaVolt from that app and say yes on our page, where you choose one space (your own, or one company you belong to) and whether the app may add things as well as read them.

Content checks

To keep ZetaVolt free of explicit content, cursing, hate speech and extremism, everything posted or sent — words, photos, videos and sites — is checked automatically when it is shared, including by an AI moderation service that receives only that content. We keep a record that something was stopped (the kind of problem and when), never the content itself. Photos, videos or documents you show Zeta with “What is this?” are looked at to answer you and are not kept.

Who can see what you post

You choose. Your profile sections, posts and photos each have a setting (everyone, your connections, or just you). Inside a company, colleagues see the company’s records according to their role. Anything posted publicly can be seen by anybody.

Young people

You must be at least 14 to have a ZetaVolt profile. Profiles of people under 18 are never shown publicly, and private messages for them need a parent or guardian’s approval.

Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed; access keys for connected services are encrypted. Each company’s information is kept separate from every other company’s, and every request is checked against who you are and what you are allowed to see.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists, or until you delete something. When you delete something it is erased, not hidden. When you delete your account, everything below goes at once. Routine backups kept by our database host are never restored to bring deleted data back and expire on the host’s schedule.

Deleting your data and keeping your account

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in the app or on the website:

What is deleted immediately: your account and sign-in, your profile, posts, comments, reactions, photos and videos (from storage too), connections, saved items, notifications, Ask Zeta conversations, what Zeta learned from your devices, your connected accounts, your own space in Volt and the Workshop, and any company where you are the only member.

What stays: a company that has other members keeps its business records (for example deals and orders you entered for it), no longer linked to you. If you were its only owner, another member becomes owner. Security and audit records needed to protect the service or required by law are kept without your name. Messages you sent to other people are deleted from their conversations too.

If you cannot sign in, email zetavolt@zetavolt.org from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your information in the app, download your files from Volt and your records from each product, control which devices Zeta may read on Zeta’s access, tell Zeta to forget what it read there, disconnect connected accounts, and delete your account — all yourself, at any time. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (for example under GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act: to know, to delete, to correct, and not to be discriminated against for using them — we never sell or share personal information for advertising). Write to zetavolt@zetavolt.org; the reply is automatic and the self-serve steps are on Help.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies.
