Where to get it: Mailgun → API Security. The user is the word “api”.

The test request GET /domains

ZetaVolt calls this once to prove the key works. Use any address that only reads — like /me, /account or /users?limit=1. Empty means the API address itself.

The key is sealed the moment it arrives (encrypted for your space alone). Zeta never sees it, and only this system’s own address is ever called with it.
